Work-life balance is an important HR objective. For many employees, getting out of town may not be an option and a ‘staycation’ may be the way they spend their time off. However, staying in town often isn’t the best way to decompress. With staycations, workers often end up doing projects around the house. Plus, with laptops, smartphones and other devices, we often have continual access to and from the office so we rarely have true “freedom from work.
