FURNITURE PRODUCT LINES EXPAND: Furniture Sales Expected to Triple This Year

Purchasing Power is adding new products to its competitively-priced furniture line and, as a result, anticipates that furniture sales will nearly triple in 2012.

Through November, Purchasing Power has shipped 5,363 furniture products in 2011. The most popular products in 2011 include Wynwood and Hillsdale Furniture lines and Simmons Mattresses.

Youth and nursery furniture launched recently with a great selection of bunk beds, cribs and changing tables. Also added to the catalog are sofas from Norwalk Furniture; recliners and theater seating from McNeilly, O’Bello and Ultra Comfort; and compact desks that can fit in any corner and are great for laptops.

Special promotions are running monthly – such as receiving a free bed when you buy two nightstands, dresser and mirror, or a free dining table when you buy 6 chairs.

Strong furniture sales are showing that employees appreciate being able to buy furniture through a purchase program, just as they do computers, electronics and appliances.
