Piloted last year, the Automotive Services program expanded to most Purchasing Power clients last fall and by all indications, employees are pleased it is being offered. So far this year, we are seeing a 20 percent increase in Automotive category sales over last year.

The Automotive Services program is proving to be a valuable addition to the employee purchase program. While some tire sellers and auto repair stores offer financing, consumers without prime credit may incur high interest rates, fees and other hidden costs buried in the fine print – or they may not even qualify for financing. Through our Automotive Services program, employees can now have guaranteed access to new tires and much-need car repair and maintenance services.

The Automotive category includes purchase and installation of tires as well as automotive service contracts available in three levels of coverage, ranging from major component coverage to top-of-the-line warranty coverage. Tire fulfillment is through Tire Buyer, part of the largest tire distributor in the U.S. Tires are shipped to the local installer that the customer chooses.

Coverage for auto service contracts is provided by Atlas Auto Protection. Customers can use the state-licensed repair facility of their choice for repairs.
