Atlanta Business Chronicle Benefits Section Features Purchasing Power Program Highlights

The Atlanta Business Chronicle’s November 19th issue included a special industry focus on Insurance and Employee Benefits.  Purchasing Power was highlighted in two of the stories in this section, outlining the need for and advantages to having a payroll-deducted employee purchase program as a voluntary benefit.

In the first article, entitled Balancing Act, contributing writer Randy Southerland noted that many companies are looking at ways to confront the need to cut the rising costs of benefits without destroying worker morale and perhaps losing top performers to competitors.

As Elizabeth Halkos, Purchasing Power’s CMO, pointed out in the article, “Employers are having to implement voluntary benefits such as Purchasing Power LLC that don’t cost the employer any money to offer yet represent a value-add for the employee.
